The uniqueness of Catino lies in its pure shapes, which are a result of strong relationships between dimensions, giving the pieces golden proportions. The ceramics define a landscape of monoliths, an alternation of capacious volumes designed to create a comfortable and useful bathroom. The benches, with their original character and strong visual impact, are structured through an assembly of three different types of wood, keeping the wood grain horizontal.

Every piece in the collection is a testament to the designer's meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality. The sanitaries and wash basins are made of vitreous china or fine fire clay, while the benches and accessories are crafted from three types of solid wood - tanganiga walnut, canaletto walnut, and maple.

The Catino collection was conceived and realized in Terni, with the project starting in June 2012 and concluding in August 2012. It was subsequently exhibited at Cersaie in September 2012, where it was met with acclaim for its innovative design and high-quality craftsmanship.

Adding to its accolades, Catino was awarded Platinum in A' Bathroom Furniture and Sanitary Ware Design Award in 2013.
